Maritime Sanitation Installs Pumpout Stations In Baytown, Galveston and Lake Belton at Frank's Marina

Edson Peristaltic Pumpout stations have recently been installed and are operating at Bayland Marina in Baytown, TX and Galveston Yacht Basin in Galveston, TX.

These stations were upgrades for diaphragm pumps that were no longer adequate for these Marinas.

The new pumps have proven to be much more efficient than the diaphragm units they replaced.  They pump approximately 20 gallons per minute instead of 5 to 10 gallons per minute, they move effluent higher and suction distance is much greater.

We can supply Edson Pump products, Pumpout Boats and Service to:  Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana with installation and grant preparation if desired.

Need help with a state grant?

The Clean Vessel Act of 1992 authorized a competitive grant program for States to construct pump-out and dump stations to dispose of vessel sewage from recreational boaters. Purpose: Provide pump-out and dump stations for boaters to dispose of human waste in an environmentally safe manner. Pump-out stations are used to pump waste out of recreational boat holding tanks. Dump stations are used to empty portable toilets. Appropriate State agencies are the only entities eligible to receive grant funds.

Maritime Sanitation has over 18 years of experience in providing marina managers/harbormasters with assistance of grant application. In addition to this we can simply answer any questions that you might have about this process. Give us a call at (281)334-5978 or email your questions using our contact form.
